Flu & COVID-19 Vaccination Service Now Available at Downley Pharmacy
We’re pleased to announce that Downley Pharmacy is now offering NHS flu and COVID-19 vaccinations for the 2025/26 season. There have been changes to eligibility since last year so this article sets out who is eligible for each vaccine and how to book an appointment at the pharmacy.
You may be eligible for a free NHS vaccination if you fall into one of the following groups:
Adults aged 65 and over
People aged 18–64 with certain health conditions (e.g. asthma, diabetes, heart disease)
Pregnant women
Frontline health and social care workers
Carers and household contacts of vulnerable individuals
Residents in long-stay residential care homes

Appointments are available now. Walk-ins may be accepted, but booking ahead is recommended to guarantee availability.
